What it is
Doctor Bangladesh is a directory of specialist doctors and hospitals. It answers what people usually find out by asking around: which doctor to see, where they sit, on which days, and what a visit costs.
What a visitor gets
- A profile for each doctor: degrees, BMDC registration number, speciality, hospital, chamber address, visiting hours and fee, with patient reviews.
- Search by doctor, speciality, symptom or hospital, and lists by city, from Dhaka and Chattogram to Sylhet, Rajshahi and Khulna.
- A separate list of profiles checked against the BMDC register.
- A hospital directory with contact details.
- A "Not sure who to see?" guide for choosing the right kind of specialist.
- Health calculators in Bangla: age, BMI, period cycle and pregnancy due date.
- A form for doctors to list their own chamber.
What it is not
It is a directory, not a medical service. It gives no medical advice and books no appointments, and it says so at the foot of every page.
How it is built
Next.js and React, with light and dark themes and a web-app manifest. The site is served through Cloudflare.
