I am a full-stack software engineer and team lead with hands-on experience building, scaling and managing production-grade software systems, with a strong focus on travel technology and OTA platforms.

I currently work on an online travel agency platform that handles more than 40,000 flight tickets a month. I am involved in the development and management of the complete production ecosystem: application architecture and development, infrastructure, databases, deployment, integrations, monitoring and optimisation.

## Travel technology

My experience includes building and integrating systems for:

- Flight search, pricing and booking
- Hotel booking
- eSIM
- Attractions
- Bus and train booking
- Payment and transaction systems
- Multiple third-party travel suppliers
- Booking and status webhooks
- Reporting and operational systems

Working with multiple suppliers has given me practical experience handling API timeouts, slow suppliers, failures, retries, availability changes, pricing differences, booking issues, concurrency and real-time status updates.

## Production and infrastructure

I take responsibility for the full production environment:

- Linux server management
- Nginx and PHP configuration
- Cloudflare, DNS and SSL
- Deployment and release management
- Redis and queue systems
- Cron jobs and scheduled processes
- Production troubleshooting
- Performance and reliability optimisation

I am comfortable troubleshooting problems across the entire stack, from application code and database queries to servers, networks and third-party APIs.

## Development and database

My core technologies are Laravel, PHP, Vue.js 3, Inertia.js, Next.js, MySQL, Redis and REST APIs. I work with complex business logic, large datasets, database optimisation, caching, queues, asynchronous processing, authentication, webhooks, API integrations and performance tuning.

## Team leadership

As a team lead I am involved in technical planning, architecture decisions, task distribution, code reviews, mentoring, production troubleshooting, supplier coordination and delivering features reliably.

## What is next

I am exploring AI, automation and SaaS products, focusing on practical solutions that automate business processes and create better products.
